Summary: The AEM Developer role involves working in a collaborative environment to design and implement high-quality components and solutions on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. The position requires expertise in developing web and mobile solutions, focusing on content models, workflows, and templates. The developer will also ensure adherence to strong coding standards while leveraging AEM's capabilities. This role is hybrid, requiring two days on-site in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-quality components and solutions within the AEM platform.
- Develop, design, test, and deploy Adobe Experience Management Web and Mobile solutions.
- Design efficient content models, security models, workflows, and templates.
- Develop AEM templates and components leveraging current AEM software releases.
- Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
Key Skills:
- 2+ years of experience implementing Adobe AEM 6.4 and later; AEM 6.5 is a plus.
- Minimum of 3+ years with J2EE programming experience.
- 2+ years of Front End development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Experience integrating Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics with AEM is a plus.
- Experience implementing web content management systems in a large corporate environment.
- Experience with object-oriented design and design patterns.
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting Internet-facing applications.
- Superior problem-solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a web producer to add new pages and update content using AEM components.
