Summary: The AEM Architect role involves taking full ownership of the Adobe Experience Manager landscape within a complex digital environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and evolve the end-to-end AEM architecture across multiple digital platforms
  • Set architectural direction, engineering standards, and deployment best practices
  • Own production change and provide technical sign-off for releases
  • Design solutions for complex challenges such as authentication, multi-frontend setups, and multi-market models
  • Drive consistency of user experience across a fragmented application landscape
  • Work closely with third-party delivery partners and systems integrators
  • Coach and upskill internal engineers and architects to leave a lasting platform uplift

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a senior or lead AEM Architect in large, enterprise environments
  • Strong grasp of AEM architecture, governance, and delivery at scale
  • Experience operating in multi-market or multi-brand digital estates
  • Comfortable working hands-on and providing architectural leadership

AEM Architect Maidenhead Area | Outside IR35 | Hybrid 10-month contract (strong extension potential)

We’re looking for a senior AEM Architect to embed into a complex, multi-platform digital estate and take full ownership of the Adobe Experience Manager landscape. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, governance, and delivery, shaping how the platform scales across markets while improving long-term sustainability and cost efficiency. You’ll act as the technical authority for AEM, working closely with delivery partners and internal teams to modernise the platform, standardise ways of working, and raise overall engineering maturity.
