Summary: The role of School Administrator at a welcoming school in Birmingham requires a dynamic individual fluent in Romanian to support various administrative functions. This position involves providing essential support in the school office, reception, and student services, ensuring a positive experience for students, parents, and visitors. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient operations and safeguarding policies within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the PA to the Headteacher, including recruitment, marketing, and basic HR tasks.
  • Handle general clerical duties, including word processing, data entry, and operating office equipment.
  • Produce reports and data as requested by senior staff and external agencies.
  • Maintain accurate manual and computerized records.
  • Assist with student enquiries and provide support at the student services window.
  • Help organise school visits and events.
  • Respond to parent enquiries.
  • Provide first aid and support to unwell students, liaising with parents and staff.
  • Follow school procedures for managing and recording accidents.
  • Provide reception cover, including answering calls and taking messages.
  • Ensure visitors are signed in according to safeguarding procedures.
  • Manage deliveries and record examination documents.
  • Adhere to all school safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
