Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for recycle-more queries within Valpak.
  • Implement improvement actions for recycle-more and liaise with management, IT, and marketing.
  • Research and lead projects to enhance recycling point data and communicate updates to the Executive Board.
  • Utilize Google to find and accurately update recycling bank locations on the Recycle-More website.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Valpak customers and councils via email and phone.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with councils as a key point of contact.
  • Support account managers to ensure member recycling location data is current.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including processing applications and vendor forms.
  • Support Dataround by following up on verification forms via phone and email.

Overall purpose The Compliance Administrator will be key to the delivery of Valpak’s comprehensive recycling search bank facility, known as recycle more. The administrator will be a motivated and enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to co-ordinate and prioritise tasks, the ideal candidate will be confident working in both a busy team environment and on their own initiative. Strong organisational and communication skills are imperative. The administrator will be committed to wanting to help improve recycling information for consumers. The ideal candidate will want to learn and gain experience in the environmental sector, be pro-active and champion recycle-more. The role will require co-ordination and working independently to ensure recycling bank locator information is kept up to date and the successful candidate will act as the key point of contact for local councils and public queries. You will also liaise between management, marketing and IT stakeholders to ensure that improvements to recycle-more are rolled out.

Key accountabilities Recycle-more Co-ordination Being the ‘go to’ contact within Valpak for recycle-more queries Ensure improvement actions for recycle-more are implemented and liaise between management, IT and marketing to ensure these are delivered Research and lead projects to increase recycling point data and communicate updates with the Executive Board at meetings. Data Administration Use Google to find locations of recycling banks Accurately update data from Council websites to Recycle-More website Customer Service Provide excellent customer service to both Valpak customers and councils, both over email and the phone. Act as a first point of contact for incoming member queries Relationship management Work with councils to develop and maintain relationships to act as a key point of contact Work with account managers within Valpak to ensure data is kept up to date and maintained in relation to member recycling location points General administrative duties Administration support including processing new applications, contact/company changes and filling our vendor forms Dataround support including chasing in verification forms via phone and email.
