Property Services Coordinator / Administrator – Social Housing – £17 to £22 per hour – Hybrid – INDSOH

Venn Group are recruiting for an experienced Property Services Coordinator to join a Social Housing organisation on a contract basis. This Property Services Coordinator role will support a busy repairs and maintenance service, helping to ensure works are raised, tracked, monitored and completed to a high standard.

This Property Services Coordinator opportunity is ideal for someone with strong administrative or coordination experience within housing, property maintenance, repairs, facilities management or a contractor environment. Candidates who have worked as a Repairs Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator, Repairs Administrator or Property Services Administrator would be well suited.

The role

As Property Services Coordinator, you will provide essential coordination and administrative support across repairs and maintenance. The Property Services Coordinator will work closely with Managers, Surveyors, Technical Officers, Team Leaders, planning teams and contractors to raise repairs, track works, monitor performance, manage complaints and review KPI data.

You will also support the creation, maintenance and exporting of spreadsheets, ensuring data is accurate, reports are clear and housing systems remain up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise, track and update repairs, maintenance activities and works orders
  • Coordinate contractor schedules, appointments and repair progress
  • Liaise with planning teams, contractors, colleagues and customers
  • Monitor repairs performance, complaints and KPI information
  • Create, maintain and export spreadsheets using Excel
  • Review data and support service improvement reporting
  • Support Surveyors, Technical Officers, Managers and Team Leaders
  • Ensure systems, records and files are accurate and up to date
  • Help ensure repairs are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards
  • Provide clear communication to customers and internal stakeholders

About you

  • Experience as a Property Services Coordinator, Repairs Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator, Repairs Administrator or similar
  • Administrative or coordination experience within housing, repairs, property maintenance, facilities management or contractor environments
  • Experience coordinating repairs, maintenance works, works orders or contractor schedules
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Strong Excel skills, including creating and exporting spreadsheets
  • Confident liaising with contractors, customers and internal teams
  • Able to work under pressure while meeting service targets and KPIs
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
  • Customer focused, proactive and detail oriented

Desirable experience

  • Housing Association or Social Housing experience
  • Knowledge of housing management or repairs systems
  • Understanding of responsive repairs and maintenance processes
  • Experience monitoring performance measures and KPI reporting
  • Knowledge of housing legislation or compliance requirements
  • Experience handling customer complaints and service related enquiries
