Summary: The Risk and Compliance Assistant role at Stone King involves supporting the client onboarding process within a legal environment on a fixed-term contract basis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing AML checks for new and existing clients, including risk assessments and obtaining ID.
  • Managing matter closure, including clearing unbilled WIP and returning client funds.
  • Ensuring compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct.
  • Working with Fee Earners and Finance to manage matter lists and outstanding issues.
  • Addressing outstanding comments/complaints in collaboration with the Risk and Compliance Officer and Partner.
