Summary: As an Administrator for the Business Support Team, you will provide essential administrative support to the Children, Adults and Health Department, ensuring accurate records and reports. You will act as the main point of contact for Social Care, managing enquiries and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders. The role involves data management, report preparation, and budget monitoring, all within a hybrid working environment. This limited-term contract is set to conclude in January 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed and accurate administration support to maintain up-to-date records and reports.
- Act as the main point of contact for Social Care, managing enquiries and information requests.
- Collate, maintain records, and analyze information for accurate reporting.
- Research information within Social Care and draft sections of documents for reports.
- Escalate specific concerns and ensure accurate communication of issues.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining budgets and financial information.
Key Skills:
- NVQ 2 or 3 or equivalent qualifications/experience in office administration.
- Ability to take and type accurate minutes of meetings and format documents professionally.
- Effective communication skills across various media (email, phone, face-to-face).
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in using databases, running reports, and analyzing data.
- Basic financial procedure knowledge (petty cash, invoicing).
