Summary: The Administrative Assistant role is a contract position lasting 2-3 months, based in York, with a focus on providing technical and clerical support for a main contractor in the Rail, Construction, and Civil Engineering sectors. The position requires working 21 hours per week on specified days and involves various administrative tasks, including report preparation and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical and clerical support with the preparation of reports on business performance, programmes of work, and improvement initiatives
- Locating and collating data, records, and other information as required
- Assisting with meetings as required, tracking minutes and actions
- Carrying out checks on fire and safety equipment
- Scanning and filing site delivery and collection documents
- Emailing briefing documents to relevant parties
- General filing, scanning, and other administration duties
Key Skills:
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Excel
