Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective PA, secretarial, and administrative service to the Manufacturing Plants and Huddersfield Site.
  • Support Plant Task Force Meetings, Inquiries & Engineering Meetings.
  • Act as Q Pulse Administrator for the Quality Database.
  • Cover Occupational Health Admin Personnel.
  • Arrange meetings and events for Site personnel, providing necessary support.
  • Maintain tidiness and facilities within the Main Office Block and conference rooms.
  • Administer the Site Vehicle Register.
  • Update Joint Integrity Site List and LCM Database.
  • Facilitate Town Hall meetings.
  • Perform various administrative duties to ensure smooth running of site departments.
  • Support manufacturing plants with administration and secretarial tasks, including note-taking and report generation.
  • Jointly arrange large events and business meetings, managing logistics and records.
  • Keep accurate records of Site vehicles and ensure insurance is up-to-date.
  • Raise purchase orders and BACs requests for supplies.
  • Regularly check conferencing facilities and maintain adequate supplies.

Key Skills:

  • 3 years’ experience in a multi-disciplined office environment.
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook.
  • Ability to interact successfully with a diverse range of people.
  • Experience in meeting and event coordination.
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and systems.
  • Understanding of site communications processes.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize a diverse workload.
  • Team player with self-motivation and independent working capability.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused and adaptable to changing service needs.
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Displays good planning and organizational skills with high accuracy.
  • GCSE English or equivalent, capable of writing articles and summarizing reports.
  • Good keyboard skills and familiarity with various Microsoft Office applications.
