Actuarial Project Consultant 18 month FTC

Summary: The Actuarial Project Consultant role at Equiniti involves supporting the Regulatory Change Team with complex calculations and project management tasks related to pensions consultancy. Key Responsibilities:

• Creating complex calculations and writing exacting formulae
• Checking and auditing quotes, claims, and servicing work
• Identifying gaps in processes and suggesting solutions
• Performing project management roles, including designing project plans and risk logs
• Demonstrating commercial awareness and recording chargeable time
• Prioritizing and organizing workload to meet deadlines
• Providing ongoing training and coaching to colleagues
• Issuing accurate client reports and arranging meetings
• Developing effective working relationships with team colleagues and business contacts
• Maintaining data on systems and providing management information as required

Key Skills:

• Previous experience in Pensions Consultancy
• Progress towards Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) exams
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, face-to-face)
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Analytical and good decision-making skills
