Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver all actuarial work for Dalriada.Together clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.
  • Maintain actuarial services and processes in line with Dalriada standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide house views on actuarial matters and ensure consistency across the team.
  • Support the Dalriada investment team on actuarial aspects of strategy and decision-making.
  • Act as actuarial lead in signing off Mantle installations and ensure actuarial integrity in system setup.
  • Liaise with external actuaries, investment consultants, and fiduciary managers as required.
  • Maintain Mantle for actuarial matters, including asset feeds and configuration.
  • Handle and resolve Mantle superuser actuarial queries.
  • Provide training and support to external Mantle users on actuarial functionality.
  • Attend client meetings and new business pitches to represent actuarial expertise.
  • Support ad hoc technical projects and contribute to process improvements.
  • Keep the team updated on technical developments and regulatory changes.
  • Participate in tender activity and pitches for new business.
  • Contribute to marketing collateral and thought leadership on actuarial topics.
  • Build and maintain a network of professional contacts to support business development.

The Team consists of Trustees, administrators, client managers and actuaries.

About the Role We are looking for an experienced pensions professional with a strong actuarial background to lead the actuarial aspects of our Dalriada.Together service. This is a key role within the team, responsible for delivering high-quality actuarial services, maintaining technical standards, and supporting the integration of actuarial and investment processes across our client base. You will take ownership of actuarial delivery for all Dalriada.Together schemes, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and provide strategic input on actuarial matters. The role also involves supporting the investment team, actuarial involvement in Mantle installations, and acting as a technical authority for both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.

Circumstances Location: Belfast, London, Manchester or Glasgow. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with additional hours as and when required.
