Summary: The Activity Centre Instructor role at Bridgwater & Taunton College involves supporting the delivery of outdoor activities aimed at developing teamwork and leadership skills.   • Mountain biking experience.
  • Familiarity with low and high ropes courses.
  • Knowledge of bushcraft and survival skills.
  • Experience in archery.
  • Orienteering skills.
  • Raft building experience.

The Role

We are seeking proactive, dynamic, and enthusiastic Activity Instructors to support the delivery of a wide range of outdoor, teamwork and leadership activities. You ll work alongside our Lead Activity Instructor, stepping in when demand arises to help deliver high-quality sessions for a variety of internal and external groups.

You will be actively involved in both land and water-based activities, with a strong emphasis on developing transferable life skills such as communication, resilience, and teamwork. Your work will play a key role in supporting the personal growth, behaviour, and attitudes of our customers.

We would be particularly interested in candidates with experience of any of the following,

  • Teamwork & Leadership Challenges
  • Walking & Moorland Navigation
  • Canoeing, Kayaking & Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP)
