Summary: The Active Play Community Lead role at Freedom Leisure involves engaging with children aged 5-12 during play sessions in various green spaces across Arun. Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with local parish and town councils where sessions are held
• Setting up and taking down play equipment for each session
• Completing health and safety checks before each session
• Operating the sessions, including originating and implementing a varied activity programme
• Coordinating and supervising the children, ensuring their safety during activities
• Carrying out all duties in accordance with Normal Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plans
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene
• Managing customer queries, comments, and complaints
• Ensuring the highest level of duty of care and customer service at all times
• Interacting positively with all children and young people attending the sessions
• Being an exceptional team player and confident working in a team environment

Key Skills:

• Over 25 years of age with a full clean driving licence
• Experience of working in a self-motivated and proactive manner
• Experience of delivering excellent customer service
• Experience of working directly with customers, especially with children
• Confidence in leading children of varying ages through group activities
