Summary: The role of Senior Active Directory Engineer involves taking ownership of complex enterprise environments, focusing on security remediation and architectural improvements. The engineer will assess and refine Active Directory tiering models and implement changes aligned with security best practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and refine AD tiering model (Tier 0-2)
  • Review OU structures, delegation models, and GPO impact
  • Identify and remediate privilege risks, service accounts, and dependencies
  • Deliver AD design improvements aligned to security best practice
  • Implement changes across users, groups, and server objects
  • Conduct gap analysis and produce actionable remediation plans

Key Skills:

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Active Directory architecture
  • Strong knowledge of forests, domains, trusts, replication
  • Proven experience in enterprise AD security and tiering models

Senior Active Directory Engineer | Contract | London (Office, 4 days)

We’re hiring a senior AD specialist to take ownership of complex enterprise environments, driving tiering, security remediation, and architectural improvements across a large-scale estate. You’ll operate at both design and hands-on delivery level, working closely with security and infrastructure teams to harden identity platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and refine AD tiering model (Tier 0-2)
  • Review OU structures, delegation models, and GPO impact
  • Identify and remediate privilege risks, service accounts, and dependencies
  • Deliver AD design improvements aligned to security best practice
  • Implement changes across users, groups, and server objects
  • Conduct gap analysis and produce actionable remediation plans
