Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the existing Active Directory and infrastructure to understand current dependencies on applications and services.
- Create a list of dependencies to investigate removal options.
- Evaluate Azure EntraID configuration to understand its decoupling from the on-premises environment.
- Promote Azure EntraID as the primary Identity Management platform.
- Provide best practice guidance on identity lifecycle management evolution and modernisation.
- Consider the impact of Local Government Re-organisation (LGR) on modern identity management.
Key Skills:
- Active Directory Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Azure Entra ID Proficiency: 5+ years of experience evaluating its configuration.
- Consultancy Experience: Proven track record in conducting discovery phases.

Join us as an Active Directory Consultant to spearhead the transformation of our Active Directory and identity management systems. This role is crucial for enhancing our IT infrastructure's security and operational efficiency by transitioning from a legacy on-premises environment to a modern identity management platform.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assess the existing Active Directory and infrastructure to understand current dependencies on applications and services, creating a list of dependencies to investigate removal options.
- Evaluate Azure EntraID configuration to understand how it can be decoupled from the on-premises environment and promoted as the primary Identity Management platform.
- Provide best practice guidance on Identity lifecycle management evolution and modernisation, including potential integrations, automations, and their benefits.
- Consider the impact of Local Government Re-organisation (LGR) and its dependencies on modern identity management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Directory Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience with the ability to assess the current state, identify dependencies across applications and services.
- Azure Entra ID Proficiency: 5+ years of experience evaluating its configuration and potential as a primary identity platform.
- Consultancy Experience: Proven track record in conducting discovery phases, ideally within consultancy environments.
- Reporting Skills: Strong capability to write detailed reports providing recommendations and best practices.
- Knowledge of Modern Identity Lifecycle Management: Understanding of Microsoft-based approaches, processes, pros and cons, and automation options.
