Summary: The Acquisitions Project Director at Care UK will lead the management of acquisition projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with strategic objectives while maintaining quality care and regulatory compliance. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and oversight of due diligence, transition, and integration activities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale acquisitions, particularly in health or social care. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, vendors, advisors, and regulators.
- Management of the project transition budget.
- Management of the RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs.
- Oversee all aspects of due diligence across all workstreams.
- To achieve transaction exchange and completion on time.
- Liaise with the Care UK legal team to agree responsibilities regarding the review of all agreements.
- Achieve care regulator registration (CQC, CIS or CIW as required).
- Ensure all TSA arrangements are established in readiness for Completion.
- Facilitate a knowledge exchange between all workstreams and the seller.
- Delivery of the operations plan (Ops, quality, hotel services).
- Execution of rebranding.
- Standardise to Care UK ways of working to improve quality of service, customer experience and financial performance.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record of leading large-scale acquisitions, mergers, or integrations (preferably within health or social care).
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams across multiple sites.
- Excellent project management and programme delivery skills.
- Collaborative leader with the ability to influence at all levels / multiple sites.
