Our client are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join them on an interim ongoing basis to support with a high work load. Description As Accounts Receivable Analyst, your key duties will include the following: Collaborate effectively as part of a team. Prepare manual invoices and credit notes for a designated group of clients. Analyse sales contracts to extract and interpret billing details. Configure invoicing data within the company's automated billing systems. Record invoices and credit notes accurately in the accounts receivable ledger. Address client and internal inquiries regarding billing and invoicing issues. Oversee credit control processes for your assigned client portfolio. Provide performance analytics and insights for your client portfolio. Identify and define system data requirements to enable automated invoice generation. Support the development and implementation of automation initiatives and process enhancements. Assist with month-end reporting while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. Perform additional tasks related to revenue and accounts receivable as needed. Profile A successful Accounts Receivable Analyst should bring the following: At least 2 years of experience in a dynamic and high-pressure accounting environment, particularly during the busy invoicing periods at the start of each month. Background in accounts receivable with a solid understanding of general accounting principles. Knowledge of VAT is advantageous. Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate and utilise data across multiple internal systems effectively. Proficient in Excel at an intermediate level. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy in all tasks. Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities. Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills to manage inquiries from clients and internal teams via email and phone confidently and professionally.
