  • Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, and month-end activities
  • Act as the go-to expert for supplier and business queries
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit standards
  • Champion process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members and apprentices

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience leading an Accounts Payable team
  • Solid knowledge of invoice processing, coding, and public procurement
  • Proficiency in AP systems (Agresso UNIT4, Proactis/Medius a plus)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset and analytical approach
  • AAT qualification (or working towards) is an advantage
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

About The Role

As our Accounts Payable Team Lead , you’ll be at the heart of our finance operations, managing supplier invoice processing, ensuring timely payments, and championing continuous improvement. You’ll lead a dedicated team, build strong supplier relationships, and support the Accounts Payable Manager in delivering automation and system enhancements.
