Reporting to the Head of Finance Systems & Change at Client, you’ll be stepping into a pivotal role driving the process workstream of a major Accounts Payable transformation programme. This isn’t about writing generic requirements — it’s about owning the change, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring AP processes are future-ready and fully aligned to a target operating model.
Your Mission
- Take full ownership of the process workstream, shaping how Accounts Payable operates in the new model.
- Bring clarity and confidence to AP stakeholders — making them aware of upcoming changes, winning their support, and guiding them through adoption.
- Build trust and influence across global teams (e.g. Canada) through strong relationship-building — often over the phone and always camera-on.
- Keep delivery on track by working to clear project stage gates and milestones, ensuring progress is visible and measurable.
- Act as a peer-level subject matter expert, providing grounded, practical advice on AP workflows in a technology-enabled finance transformation.
What You Bring
- End-to-end transformation delivery experience from at least 2–3 full lifecycle AP transformation projects (mandatory)
- A proven track record leading process workstreams in large-scale change initiatives.
- A solid grasp of target operating models and how to embed them in finance operations.
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills — you can win people over even when change feels uncomfortable.
- Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones, maintaining momentum in a remote-first, on-camera environment.
- A strong working knowledge of structured project delivery — understanding governance, stage gates, and milestone control.
- Good process mapping and power point skills essential.
Why This Role Matters
You won’t be a background player. This is a front-line transformation role where your expertise will directly shape the future of AP operations. Your ability to combine process insight with people change skills will determine the pace and quality of adoption.
