Summary: The Accounts Payable Coordinator is a temporary position starting from mid-April, focused on ensuring accurate and timely payment processing while managing supplier accounts and internal queries. The role involves account reconciliation, data analysis, and compliance with financial regulations. The position requires on-site work for five days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing payment runs, ensuring all approved invoices are processed accurately and paid on time.
  • Check invoices for compliance with internal policies, purchasing procedures, and relevant tax regulations (e.g., VAT).
  • Reconcile supplier statements against internal records, investigating and resolving discrepancies where required.
  • Maintain accurate Accounts Payable data within the finance system.
  • Follow established Accounts Payable processes and controls to support a strong financial control environment.
  • Maintain organised and accessible AP records (both electronic and physical) in line with company retention policies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within daily tasks.
  • Provide additional support to senior AP team members as required.
