Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team, ensuring their professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain strong financial controls across AP & AR functions.
  • Foster a positive team culture, promoting engagement, recognising achievements, and encouraging open communication.
  • Continuously review and refine processes to enhance efficiency and risk management.
  • Oversee supplier payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage client billing, debt collection, and credit risk while driving efficiencies within the billing system.
  • Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs and maintain reconciliations for debtor and creditor accounts.
  • Manage corporate card expenses, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Contribute to finance transformation projects and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with wider Finance teams to deliver valuable insights and reporting.

Key Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in AP/AR/Credit Control functions.
  • Proven experience leading and managing teams with a track record of success.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
