A well-established organisation located near Hereford is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support the finance team during a busy period.

Your new role
- As an Accounts Assistant, you will provide support across a range of finance functions, including:
- Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Credit control and cash allocation
- Assisting with payment runs
- Supporting month-end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Resolving supplier and customer queries
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team
This is a full-time position
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar finance position
- Good understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Experience using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Ability to start in late August
