Summary: The role of Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper involves supporting a dynamic finance team within a large international media merchandising company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing supplier and client invoices/payments and entering this data into Xero.
  • Chasing payments.
  • Supplier account reconciliation.
  • Creating new supplier forms.
  • Petty cash reconciliations.
  • VAT returns.
  • Processing inter-company transactions.
  • Multi-currency bank reconciliation.
  • Managing the inbox.
  • Employee expense claims.
  • Producing a weekly cash flow report.

Key Skills:

  • 2-3 years experience in AP and AR.
  • Intermediate Excel and Xero.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Proactive mindset.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
