  • Maintaining accurate financial records in Sage and Excel

Key Skills:

  • A-level education (or equivalent)
  • Ideally AAT qualified or Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA
  • 3+ years experience in a similar finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Accounts Assistant (12:Month Fixed Term Maternity Contract) Enderby, Leicestershire Office:based A GBP 30,000 : A GBP 35,000 per year

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team at our client on a 12:month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. Our client is a highly regarded and award:winning financial services firm.

The Role

This is a varied finance role supporting the day:to:day accounting operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices in Sage
  • Bank, sales and purchase ledger reconciliations
  • Commission statement processing
  • Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Supporting payroll processing
  • Assisting with VAT returns and monthly reporting
  • Maintaining accurate financial records in Sage and Excel

About You

Were looking for someone who has:

  • A:level education (or equivalent)
  • Ideally be AAT qualified or Part:qualified CIMA or ACCA
  • 3+ years experience in a similar finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
