Summary: The Finance Officer role in Belfast is a 6-month placement with a well-established charity, focusing on maintaining the Sales and Purchase Ledgers using Sage 200. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of Sales Ledger on Sage 200, including setting up new accounts, processing customer credit notes, updating customer accounts with payments received, and allocation of payments.
- Maintenance of Purchase Ledger on Sage 200, including setting up new supplier accounts, entering supplier invoices and credit notes, and processing supplier payments.
- Rebate reporting to suppliers.
- Ad hoc duties when required.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of Sage 200.
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative once training is completed.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and team player.
