Summary: Airswift is looking for an Accounting Systems Analyst for a 1-year contract position with an oil and gas client in Calgary, AB. The role involves maintaining the organization's Financial System and requires a blend of administrative, technical, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will contribute to system enhancements and process improvements while ensuring accurate data management. This position is integral to the Accounting Systems team as they transition to more streamlined processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain core master data in Qbyte, including vendors, cost centres, and ownership masters
- Perform control checks
- Liaise with other business units regarding Business Associate (BA) changes
- Review and continuously monitor Business Associates against sanction lists
- Participate in accounting and business process improvement projects in coordination with IT
- Assist IT with integration testing for system upgrades
- Maintain desk manuals
- Create and manage BA reports
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage EnergyLink BA records
- Maintain Authority Grid updates
Key Skills:
- Working knowledge of Qbyte, Qbyte Optix, and EnergyLink; 3–5 years of related experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, integrity, and adherence to policies and controls
- Excellent communication skills, including listening, writing, and verbal communication
- Ability to adapt to change and manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented, proactive in understanding client needs and delivering results within established procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

Working as part of the Accounting Systems team based in Calgary, the successful candidate will be responsible for tasks primarily related to the organization's Financial System. The Accounting Systems group focuses on the day-to-day maintenance of system records as well as system enhancements and upgrades.
