Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices for multiple operational sites, ensuring accuracy and correct coding
- Assist with the preparation of monthly site profit and loss reports and supporting schedules
- Support the month-end close process, including reconciliations and reporting preparation
- Work closely with Operational Managers and the Finance Business Partner to ensure financial data is accurate and complete
- Assist Management Accountants with revenue checks and account reconciliations
- Support the setup of new site accounts and reporting structures
- Maintain accurate records across customer accounts and financial systems
- Respond to internal and external queries relating to invoices, accounts, and financial reports
- Build strong working relationships with both finance and operational teams
- Provide additional support with budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc finance tasks as required
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a varied Accounts Assistant role
- Strong reconciliation and ledger management skills
- Experience supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
- AAT qualified desirable
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Accounts Assistant 3 to 6 Month Contract | Woking (3 Days On-Site) | Parking Available £38,000–£42,000 per annum (Equivalent to hourly rate inside IR35) We’re working with a growing organisation seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their head office finance team. This hybrid role offers an initial training period fully office-based before moving to a 3/2 split. This is a varied position suited to someone with strong accounts assistant experience who enjoys working across both transactional and reporting tasks. You’ll play a key role in supporting the production of site-level financial reports, managing invoicing activity, and assisting the wider finance team during month-end and reporting cycles.
