Summary: The role of Accountant - Software Support involves providing customer support for a global SaaS company specializing in accountancy software. The position requires engaging with customers to assist with onboarding and resolving queries, while also being responsible for training on software products. This is an 18-month contract based in central London, requiring three days in the office. The ideal candidate will possess accountancy qualifications and experience in customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing customer support including onboarding partner, strategy, and training.
- Be the first point of contact to resolve challenging customer queries.
- Hold consultative conversations and use questioning skills to uncover customer pain points.
- Able to build urgency in customers to activate and use their subscriptions.
Key Skills:
- Accountancy qualifications such as ACCA or AAT.
- Experience in engaging with customers via outbound calls and emails.
- Experience delivering software-based product onboarding or training (e.g., Xero, Quickbooks, Sage).
- Ability and desire to learn while staying up to date with the appropriate software solutions.
