Key Responsibilities:
- Review or prepare recorded/posted transactions of all non-US entities.
- Oversee timely and accurate fiscal year closings for all non-US external reporting.
- Manage local annual fiscal audits for non-US entities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate service rates.
- Manage procedures for granting funds between non-US charities.
- Provide training on basic accounting concepts to Operations Administrators.
- Propose changes to accounting policies and procedures for non-US entities.
- Ensure cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting are monitored appropriately.
- Strengthen transaction mechanisms and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Deliver outputs in line with Finance Division strategies and priorities.
- Produce reports and recommendations following audits.
- Operate in compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Key Skills:
- Qualified (ACCA or CIMA), qualified by experience, or part qualified accountant.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and French.
- Understanding of French GAAP.
- Exposure to Netsuite or similar large ERP systems.
- Experience in a 'not for profit' background.
- Immediate availability or one week's notice.
