Summary: The Business Controller / Management Accountant role in Bristol involves supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial performance within a global aerospace leader. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes across business units, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Partner with operational managers to identify and evaluate improvement projects, including ROI and business case validation.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to both local and central teams, highlighting performance trends and risks.
  • Provide financial insight and challenge to operational teams, supporting them in achieving targets through actionable recommendations.
  • Evaluate business cases for capital investments and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support controlling activities across Recurring Costs, Inventory, Non-Recurring Costs, and Capex (Jigs/Tools).

Key Skills:

  • CIMA qualified with at least 2 years' experience in a business partnering or management accounting role (or 5+ years' experience as an accountant if not qualified).
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in project accounting is essential.
  • Proficient in SAP or similar financial reporting tools.
