Summary: The Accountant role involves supporting strategic financial management and preparing management accounts within a leading organization in Enniskillen. This position is for a 12-month period with a hybrid working model, requiring collaboration with management on budgets and financial reporting. The Accountant will also enhance financial systems and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing management reports and variance analysis while maintaining budget control.
- Working alongside management to prepare budgets.
- Assisting in the planning and preparation of draft annual accounts and supporting papers.
- Supporting the administration and management of claims.
- Ensuring financial policies and procedures are kept up to date.
- Providing reports, returns, and financial information as required.
- Enhancing current systems and implementing new systems, including training and updating procedures.
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAI) with at least 2 years of experience or part-qualified with at least 3 years of experience.
- Current driving license and access to transport.
- Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- High degree of self-motivation and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.
