Accountant - Credit Funds

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a leading financial services firm based in London.

This role is suited to an individual with strong fund accounting experience, particularly across Credit Funds and/or General Funds, who can operate effectively in a fast-paced investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounting and reporting activities across a portfolio of credit and/or GP funds.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support fund close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal postings.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and external service providers.
• Assist with investor reporting and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience within Financial Services, ideally in asset management, private credit, or alternative investments.
• Strong exposure to Credit Funds and/or General Funds.
• Experience preparing fund financial statements and working closely with fund administrators.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
