Summary: A detail-driven Accountant is needed for a fast-paced SME in Cosham on a 6-month contract to support growth and increased reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and accounts production, with the ability to quickly add value. This role involves managing intercompany accounts, performing reconciliations, and assisting in financial statement production. The position offers flexible hybrid working arrangements and requires eligibility to work in the UK full time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts across multiple entities
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist in the production of financial statements and statutory accounts
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
Key Skills:
- QBE or part-qualified accountant
- Proven experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Available to start at short notice
