Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of accurate financial results in line with Group reporting deadlines.
- Support Project teams, Senior Accountant, and wider Finance team in financial reporting.
- Reconciliation of all sub-ledgers including the Projects module through to the General Ledger monthly.
- Posting all necessary journals to correctly categorise results and amend reconciliation issues.
- Preparation, reporting, and reconciliations of sales and cost accruals.
- Reconciliations between financial and management reporting systems.
- Preparation of supplementary interim and year-end IFRS disclosures.
- Reconciliation of payroll information and entry into the General Ledger.
- Responsible for accurate tax treatment of all financial transactions.
- Supporting with intercompany balances, reconciling, and matching with group counterparties.
- Monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts.
- Support with the internal and external audit process.
- Support the submission of the annual insurance declaration.
- Ad hoc support to key stakeholders within the Petrofac Group.
- Development of processes to maximise efficiency in the reporting process.
- Identifying system improvements to increase the efficiency of reporting process.
- Support business improvement initiatives across the business and finance function.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or relevant discipline.
- CA/ACCA/CPA/CIMMA/CMA Part or recently qualified preferred.
- Extensive experience in a finance role.
- Previous experience in International Oil & Gas service Industry required.
- ERP experience essential, with knowledge of FCCS, Hyperion, or other group reporting solutions preferred.

- Financial Reporting
- Preparation and review of accurate financial results in line with Group reporting deadlines
- Support Project teams, Senior Accountant and wider Finance team in the provision of timely and accurate financial reporting for the Region
- Reconciliation of all sub-ledgers including the Projects module through to the General Ledger monthly
- Posting all necessary journals to correctly categorise results and amend any reconciliation issues.
- Preparation, reporting and reconciliations of sales and cost accruals.
- Reconciliations between financial and management reporting systems
- Preparation of supplementary interim and year end IFRS disclosures in line with Group reporting deadlines
- Reconciliation of payroll information and entry into the General Ledger, ensuring appropriate allocation across projects
- Responsible for accurate tax treatment of all financial transactions and providing necessary information to tax advisors for tax filings.
- Supporting with intercompany balances, reconciling, and matching with group counterparties
- Monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts, with any misallocations reviewed and cleared before the next reporting period
- Support with the internal and external audit process through provision of concise reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Support the submission of the annual insurance declaration
- Ad hoc support to key stakeholders within the Petrofac Group

Knowledge & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or other relevant discipline
- CA/ACCA/CPA/CIMMA/CMA Part or recently qualified is preferable but can also be qualified by experience.
- Extensive experience in a finance role
- Previous experience in International Oil & Gas service Industry required
- ERP experience essential, with knowledge of FCCS, Hyperion, or other group reporting solutions preferred.
