Summary: This creative agency in Harrogate is looking for an Account Manager to fill a 12-18 month maternity contract. The role focuses on building long-term customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering a positive experience. The successful candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills and will ideally start before the end of October. The position is primarily office-based with some flexibility in working hours and model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise across internal teams and customers directly via e-mail and telephone
- Maintaining customer data
- Providing admin support to several accounts
- Act as the first point of contact for internal & external customers
- Regular meetings with team and 121's with Line Manager
- Ensuring correct pricing is maintained
- Processing & uploading orders
- Managing stock returns
- Ensuring customer stock is always at an adequate level
- Updating product information
- Processing of returns and forwarding debit notes to Accounts for processing
- Managing customer accounts and compiling monthly summaries
- Producing bespoke customer reports, including sales and stock analysis
- Working with a critical date path to plan and prepare for relevant customer product submissions
- Managing your account to maximise design exposure, sales and profitability, whilst minimising returns
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years Account Management experience
- Strong administration skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel
- Retail experience would be preferred but not essential

As an Account Manager you will grow the business by building successful, long-term customer relationships. Your focus will be to satisfy customer needs and requests, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner, and deliver a positive customer experience. With excellent communication and negotiation skills, the successful Account Manager will be customer-service orientated and be able to join this team before the end of October. Ideally this role will be fully office based, however there is a degree of flexibility to working hours and working model, key responsibilities will include;

As an experienced Account Manager you will be in regular communication with suppliers, maintaining and developing relationships as well as working closely with the sider team to develop wider customer opportunities, this is an exciting opportunity, the successful candidate will have:
