Summary: The Account Manager at Worldline will play a pivotal role in addressing challenges within the payments technology sector, focusing on business development and client relationship management. This position involves collaborating with various teams to achieve revenue targets while ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions. The role requires travel to meet clients and partners, as well as the preparation of high-quality proposals and presentations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional with a strong background in account management and a passion for driving positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and contribute toward the business plan for key vertical markets
  • Close business and secure deals with existing clients
  • Identify new products, services or partnerships which complement Worldline's offerings
  • Travel to various UK and international locations to meet with clients and partners
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and proposals for submission to clients
  • Provide timely and accurate revenue forecasting and management information
  • Ensure meeting, call and contact reports are accurately captured in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with Sales and other Teams to achieve committed revenue targets

  • Proven track record in account management and development
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation abilities at all levels
  • Strong aptitude for identifying customer needs and delivering optimal solutions
  • Ability to build and develop relationships at all levels within customer organizations
  • Experience in delivering solution proposals with direct economic value propositions
  • High level of self-motivation, enthusiasm, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of legal contracting principles with attention to detail
  • Experience managing complex and large corporate customers
  • Knowledge of electronic payment/cashless transaction market (preferred)
  • Experience with CRM and Salesforce.com (preferred)
  • Retail and/or QSR experience (preferred)
