Summary: The role of Account Executive (AE) at Freuds involves supporting a range of TV and film publicity campaigns and live events within the entertainment sector. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in entertainment-focused PR and will be responsible for client management, drafting materials, and contributing to team culture. This position requires a proactive approach to tasks and a passion for delivering impactful campaigns. The AE will also engage in collaborative efforts to foster a sense of belonging within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong understanding of clients, their sectors, competitors, audiences, and the cultural context they operate in, proactively sharing relevant insights with the team.
  • Support day-to-day client management by keeping notes, actions, deadlines, trackers, and follow-ups accurate, timely, and up to date.
  • Draft clear, thoughtful, and well-checked written materials, including client updates, reports, briefs, research, deck content, and first-draft press materials.
  • Develop knowledge of relevant channels, partners, and discipline-specific ways of working, using this understanding to contribute confidently to client work.
  • Help integrated teams work smoothly by keeping information clear, current, and shared with the right people across work streams and disciplines.
  • Keep projects moving by managing assigned tasks, monitoring deadlines, closing the loop on actions, and flagging risks or capacity pressures early.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and clients, adapting tone and detail to suit the audience and escalating with the right context when needed.
  • Contribute positively to team culture by collaborating generously, supporting interns or new joiners where appropriate, and demonstrating Freuds’ belonging behaviours.
  • Support measurement and reporting by checking data carefully, compiling accurate reports, and beginning to identify simple patterns, insights, and watch-outs.
  • Build commercial awareness by logging time accurately, supporting supplier and finance administration, and understanding how time, costs, and expenses affect delivery.
  • Use AI and workflow tools thoughtfully to support research, drafting, reporting, and project management, while applying human judgement, accuracy, and transparency at all times.

The Role We are looking for an AE level PR candidate who will have already gained experience working full time in an entertainment focussed PR role. We are seeking an Associate (AE) who will be involved in a range of TV & film publicity campaigns, as well as live events. Avengers: Doomsday Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping / The Death of Robin Hood / The Grand Tour / Clarkson’s Farm. You’ll be thorough and detailed in your approach to tasks in hand and take pride in delivering excellent work. You are hungry for responsibility, new challenges, and the opportunity to work on some of the biggest campaigns & events in entertainment.
