Summary: Aquent is seeking an Account Director to lead dynamic advertising and communications campaigns for a leading media and communications organization. This role involves orchestrating complex projects, influencing creative direction, and ensuring the successful delivery of integrated campaigns. The ideal candidate will connect diverse teams and external partners to drive brand narratives and significant growth. This position is a 2 weeks rolling booking with a daily rate of up to £381 via Umbrella, requiring 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to finalize campaign briefs, ensuring clarity and alignment from the outset.
  • Facilitate internal briefing sessions, partnering with strategy teams to craft comprehensive briefs for creative and production teams.
  • Collaborate closely with creative leadership to bring world-class creative visions to life.
  • Strategically manage resources, project plans, and budgets with production teams to ensure efficient campaign delivery.
  • Maintain transparent and proactive communication with clients, providing project updates, resolving issues, and managing expectations effectively.
  • Lead compelling client presentations for creative concepts at every project stage, synthesizing feedback and defining clear next steps.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of integrated campaigns, from initial concept to final public display.
  • Continuously monitor project progression alongside production and creative teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and original campaign objectives.
  • Proactively identify and escalate critical issues and blockers to senior leadership, facilitating swift resolution with relevant marketing and agency stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen, supporting monthly burn reporting for leadership, tracking retainers, overseeing production budgets, and evaluating capacity for new briefs.
  • Partner with marketing for forward planning, maintaining updated project roadmaps, and communicating priorities, potential delays, or issues to internal teams.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with media partners and other third-party vendors (e.g., production companies and studios) to foster seamless collaboration.
