Summary: This role is for an Account Associate on a fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover for approximately 12 months, based in Oxford, UK. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of strategically important accounts by building strong relationships across multiple touchpoints.
- Maintain regular contact with key stakeholders, identify opportunities for growth, and nurture new connections within the organization.
- Reengage customers whose one-year deals are approaching renewal.
- Drive account value growth by cross-selling and up-selling services regionally.
- Provide exemplary customer service, ensuring deliverables are met and maximizing engagement at a senior level.
- Track account milestones and activities to anticipate future needs and develop strategies to enhance account value.
- Lead negotiations involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives and managing differing interests.
- Maintain an opportunity pipeline using Salesforce CRM to track and report on opportunities and ongoing account plans.
Key Skills:
- 1–2 years of technical or subscription sales experience.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a creative approach to identifying impactful opportunities.
- Relevant Bachelor's or master’s degree in Energy, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- Calm and adaptable in high-pressure situations.
- Highly organized, persistent, and diligent.
- Proactive and versatile in adapting to an evolving industry.
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven success in team-oriented environments.
- Passionate and curious about the energy transition.
- Fluent in English.
- Sales, business development, and client relationship experience in energy-related subscription sales is desirable.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Previous exposure to energy economics, power markets, and power networks.
- Fluency in a major European language beyond English is a plus.

Aurora is seeking an Account Associate to join our Account Management team in Berlin, Oxford or Paris. In this role, you'll drive sales and manage accounts for our energy market subscription and software services. We’re looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for Account Management. You’ll play a crucial role in client interactions and contribute to our growth in a dynamic, collaborative environment with opportunities for progression and innovation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required attributes:
- 1–2 years of technical or subscription sales experience.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a creative and intuitive approach to identifying impactful opportunities.
- Relevant Bachelor's or master’s degree in Energy, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
