As a business underwriter, you will seek the best insurance solution for the customer in terms of coverage, premium, clauses, and prevention.
You will issue quotes, assess and accept applications and changes for various business property insurance.
In addition to accepting applications, portfolio management and follow-up selection are important parts of the role.
Furthermore, you will participate in projects to optimize and innovate existing processes and products.

Within the Commercial Lines unit, the work consists of underwriting, policy preparation, billing, and consultancy of business property insurance.
Commercial Lines consists of approximately 145 employees at the locations in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Breda, Eindhoven, and Zwolle.
Together with your colleagues, you ensure quality service, satisfied customers, and a profitable managing agency.

You have an eye for the customer and know how to translate customer wishes into solutions.

Additionally, you have the following
- You have demonstrable relevant work experience in a similar role in this industry.
- You hold the diplomas Wft Basis, Wft Schade Zakelijk or are willing to obtain them.
- You possess HBO work and thinking level.
- You have a good command of the Dutch language in both spoken and written form.
- You are communicatively strong, customer-friendly, commercial, and customer-oriented.

The salary indication for this position is between € 2,412 and € 3,840 gross per month based on your education, experience, and knowledge.
Because we at Aon believe that no one is the same, we offer, in addition to the fixed gross monthly salary, a flexible salary component of 19.21% of the gross monthly salary.
This percentage can be paid out monthly or, for example, you can purchase extra vacation days. The choice is yours.
