Role Description As a Tutor at Tutors Today, I will deliver high-quality, personalised academic support to students studying the British curriculum, including 11+, GCSE, and A-level courses. The role involves working closely with students to strengthen subject understanding, improve exam technique, and build confidence in their academic abilities. I will plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs, ensuring content is aligned with exam board specifications and current curriculum requirements. This includes explaining complex concepts clearly, adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles, and using targeted practice to reinforce key skills. A key part of the role is monitoring student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and providing constructive feedback to both students and parents. I will support students in developing effective revision strategies, time management skills, and independent learning habits to help them achieve their academic goals. The position also involves maintaining a professional and supportive learning environment, managing lesson schedules effectively, and communicating reliably with clients.
