Summary: The Academic Services Administrator: Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance at BIMM University plays a crucial role in enhancing the academic experience by providing administrative support within the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance (QARC) function. This position involves implementing effective administrative processes, managing key documents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also includes serving as a point of contact for queries and supporting various QARC initiatives. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract position based in Greater London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and ongoing development of effective administrative processes aligned to the QARC team’s improvement plan.
- Format and update key policies, procedures, and documents in preparation for wider University dissemination.
- Act as the first point of contact for queries to the QARC team, routing or escalating issues as needed.
- Provide timely administrative support to cyclical quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities.
- Deliver high-quality committee servicing as required.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across the University.
- Support wider QARC projects and initiatives, as well as provide cover during team absences.
- Ensure staff and stakeholders are supported in complying with relevant academic and regulatory procedures.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within Higher Education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to use initiative and work independently.

About The Role
