Summary: The Academic Quality Officer (Resolutions) at UCFB is a temporary role focused on maintaining academic quality standards and managing student complaints during a maternity leave cover. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for students, staff, or external stakeholders regarding complaints and misconduct policies.
  • Provide high-quality case work organization and administrative support ensuring compliance with institutional regulations.
  • Collaborate with Registry Departments to record case outcomes on the student records system.
  • Support the Head of Department with cases that proceed to appeals or the Office of the Independent Adjudicator.
  • Create and maintain online guides for students and staff on complaints and misconduct policies.
  • Assist the Senior Academic Quality Officer in maintaining documentation and process flows related to complaints and misconduct.
  • Work proactively with colleagues and the student community to improve internal processes related to case management.
  • Provide organizational and administrative support for data management and reporting within the Academic Quality Department.
