  • Draft summary grounds of defence and other pleadings, including evidence. Instruct counsel and make use of other external legal resources.
  • Manage a broad range of varied case work activities complying with policies, standards, procedures and service level agreements.

  • Must be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister in the UK.
  • Has to have been in the UK for the last 5 years.
  • Sound understanding and experience of general public law.
  • Reliable legal judgement and appreciation of legal risk.

£32.85ph PAYE + 34 days holiday pay (£63,200 annual equivalent)

A Central Government Legal Department are looking for an experienced Public Law Lawyer to support with extremely complex and Government Litigation including Judicial Review. Our client is looking for passionate individuals to join their dynamic and growing legal.

As a Public Law Lawyer you will be working within a team which is dedicated to its clients and supportive of its team members.

Key responsibilities of the Public Law Lawyer:

  • Handle a range of public law litigation including judicial reviews, injunction related work and Freedom of Information appeals for a range of departments.
