Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to support small molecule drug discovery projects by producing high-quality fragment screening data.
- Characterise the binding properties and kinetics of therapeutic molecules, providing insights to guide molecule selection from initial hit identification through optimisation to final candidate selection.
- Assist with the integration of AI into experimental analysis and interpretation, and help design and build guides to evaluate new data and investigate relevant historic data.
- Support the wider SPR team, including running antibody drug discovery SPR assays and establishing orthogonal screening assays like the thermal shift assay.
Key Skills:
- Relevant degree in a scientific discipline.
- Proven industry experience in biophysical assays and SPR technology.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with fragment screening, thermal shift assays, and other biophysical techniques.
