Summary: The 3rd Line Server and Cloud Services Manager will lead a small team responsible for managing server and cloud technologies within the business. This role demands a multi-skilled individual with strong leadership capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of various IT systems. The position is hybrid based in London and requires SC security clearance eligibility. The contract is for 6 months and classified as inside IR35, with payment through an umbrella company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the third line server and cloud services team.
- Support all technologies used by the business.
- Manage and resolve issues on unfamiliar systems.
- Prepare and deliver management briefings.
- Gather and analyze information to determine service impacts and risks.
- Work to tight SLA/OLA deadlines and manage change processes.
Key Skills:
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, AAD, Windows Server, SQL Server, Oracle, Linux, Cloud Backup Solutions, and Cloud Computing Principles.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Qualified MCITP.
- ITIL qualified to Foundation Level.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas and apply existing knowledge to resolve issues.

Role overview
The open position is to work as the lead member of the third line server and cloud services team, managing the team and supporting all technologies that the business use. The team is small so the role is demanding and requires an enthusiastic multi-skilled person.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, AAD, Windows Server, SQL Server, Oracle, Linux, Cloud Backup Solutions and Cloud Computing Principals. - MANDATORY
- Strong leadership skills
- Qualified MCITP
- ITIL qualified to Foundation Level
- Strong Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Strong Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, IaaS, SaaS and PaaS.
- Familiarity with and experience working to the ISO/IEC 27001 standards
- Experience of working to tight SLA/OLA's and deadlines
- Experience of change management process
- Ability to apply existing knowledge to resolve issues on unfamiliar systems
- Able to gather and analyse information

- Experience of working with monitoring tools (SCOM and HP Insight Dynamics, Manage Engine)
- Working knowledge of Networking and Firewalls
