Summary: The 2nd Line 24/7 WAN Network Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining service stability across a global customer WAN estate within a high-performing network operations team. This role requires technical expertise in managing and configuring Juniper SRX and MX routers, as well as handling escalations and providing guidance in a 24/7 NOC environment. The engineer will also engage in incident management, fault diagnosis, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance to apply for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, manage, and configure Juniper SRX and MX routers in a live BAU environment.
- Handle escalations from 1st line support and provide technical guidance.
- Work closely with 3rd line engineers to resolve complex issues.
- Engage in incident management, fault diagnosis, and change implementation.
- Support project activities and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Key Skills:
