The Role
As an IT Support Engineer, you will act as the first point of contact for IT queries, supporting colleagues across the UK and international offices.
You’ll provide hands-on technical support, assist with user onboarding, and help maintain IT systems and equipment to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line IT support to users across the UK and global offices.
- Log and resolve IT issues via phone, email, and face-to-face, keeping users updated.
- Configure, maintain and test IT services, including meeting room technology and shared equipment.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Azure environments.
- Assist with the setup of new IT equipment, including desktop builds and network cabling.
- Deliver IT inductions and training for new joiners.
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers and escalate issues where needed.
- Take part in project-based work with the wider IT team.
About You
- Experience in a 2nd line IT support role, including deskside support.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office/365, Active Directory, and Azure.
- Strong communication skills, confident working with staff at all levels.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload effectively.
- Keen to develop within a busy, medium-sized international business.
- Nice to have: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 or CCNA certifications. ITIL Foundation
