Summary: The role of IT Support Engineer focuses on providing 2nd Line Support for Windows and Linux devices, primarily in an End User Computing (EUC) environment. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with both operating systems and be available to work on-site in London five days a week. The position emphasizes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while delivering exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will have a solid foundation in IT support and systems administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd Line Support for Windows and Linux endpoints.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to EUC.
- Build and support devices running Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Assist non-technical users by explaining complex technical issues.
- Manage and configure devices, including scripting and configuration management.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience in IT Support or Systems Administration.
- Technical proficiency in M365/O365, Windows OS, and Linux (Ubuntu).
- Knowledge of Active Directory/EntraID and Group Policy.
- Understanding of TCP/IP and DNS.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.

IT Support Engineer (Windows/Linux)We are looking to speak with 2nd Line Support Engineers with experience of supporting Linus and WIndows devices.This role is focused on EUC Support so you don’t have to have experience with the Server side but you will be asked to troubleshoot and fix 2nd Line issues with Windows and Linux endpoints.The ideal candidate will have practical experience building and supporting both Operating Systems and be available to be on site 5 days per week in London.
