Summary: The role of 1st Line Support Analyst involves providing essential support within a well-known Public Sector organization in Glasgow, on a contract basis until March 2027. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line support and assistance to users via the IT Service Desk.
  • Handle call logging and ticket management effectively.
  • Perform user set-ups, JML activities, and password resets using Active Directory.
  • Support users with Microsoft 365 suite, Desktop & Device Management tools, AV Technologies, Remote Desktops, and MDM Support.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and problem-solving support.

Key Skills:

  • Recent experience in a 1st Line Support, IT Service Desk Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong internal customer service skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies, particularly Windows 10 and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with M365 suite and device management tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Contract to end-March 2027 (circa 12 months)

Glasgow - Hybrid Working

Up to £175 per day (Inside IR35 - working via an Umbrella Company)

A well-known Public Sector organisation in Glasgow has just released a new 1st Line Support Analyst Contract role to join their team on a Contract through until the end of March 2027.

With their current Service Desk a little stretched, they're looking for someone who is available now/at short notice, who can hit the ground running & quickly fit into their team.

To be successful in this Contract, our Client are looking for candidates with the following skills & experience:

  1. Previous / recent experience in another similar 1st Line Support, IT Service Desk Analyst, IT Support or IT Helpdesk role
  2. Excellent internal Customer Service skills with strong knowledge of call logging & ticket handling
  3. Deep Microsoft knowledge - Windows 10 & specifically Active Directory for user set-ups, JML activity & password resets etc
  4. Some additional knowledge across the wider M365 suite, Desktop & Device Management tools, AV Technologies, Remote Desktops and MDM Support (InTune) would be highly advantageous
  5. Excellent problem-solving & communication skills
